2006 4wd 2.7l v6 auto 4wd light comes on when depressed, but nothing happens

What is your question?

when selecting 4wd button, it comes on but the diff lock indicator does not light up for it to be engaged in 4wd, does this system work on a vacuum or has it got a solinoid to engage 4wd?

HAVE THE CODES SCANNED AND POST. POSS SOLENOID ISSUES THERE ARE ALOT OF TSB'S ON TRNAS ISSUES WITH THIS CAR AND SEVERAL ARE PCM/TCM RELEARN OR REFLASH CALL YOU DEALER AND SEE IF YOUR ISSUE FALLS UNDER THESE TSB'S
