Hello,
The ABS light is on in my car and I've bought a code reader to tell me what the issue is. It fluctuates between 'Front LH Sensor faulty' and 'Front LH Sensor open circuit'. I've tested the front LH sensor and it is working. Any advice on how to proceed? Does the electrical line to the sensor need replacing?
Regards
Ahmad
How long has your 2003 Hyundai Tiburon had this problem?
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2003 Hyundai Tiburon. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
Intermittent wheel speed sensor / sensor circuit failures are common .. Visual inspection and testing with a dvom while wiggling wire harness / connector may help.
Good luck!
I'll give that a go tomorrow. After my testing this morning, both front sensors are now returning the 'open circuit' error. So it could just be the connection is dodgy.
So frustrating! The left hand sensor seems fine all the way, the sensor itself returns voltage as does the connector, the right hand side one is now returning nothing. Might have to try replacing them and see what happens....

That’s probably a good idea .... After install > Test *DRIVE* vehicle to confirm repair as opposed to continued hands-on circuit testing!
