What is your question?
My 2012 Hyundai Sonata just started to make a noise when you turn off the motor. The noise is a combination air pressure release and plastic door/valve closing sound. It occurs about 2 seconds after turning the motor off and lasts less than a second. The noise just started yesterday and I have never had this problem prior. My car is a GLS with 2.4L I4, 175,000 miles.
What makes this problem better or worse?
nothing makes it better or worse
How long has your 2012 Hyundai Sonata had this problem?

Hello, and hands on -- ears on -- inspection is needed by a technician near you, but it could be a normal noise. Mechanical components may be amplified through the composite intake manifold, making things sound concerning when they are operating normally. I would suggest focusing on running symptoms if they are present, rather than this noise. As always, noises are hard to "diagnose" via this forum, thus recommendation of the local tech to inspect.
Possibly just refrigerant in a/c system equalizing and mode / temperature baffling closing.. Next trip - turn ALL hvac controls to OFF position a few seconds 'before' turning engine off. See what happens.
