steering wheel controls

Any of the circuits can fail without turning on airbag light.

What's a clock spring? Where's it located, inside the steering wheel?

Actually between the steering wheel and column - it transfers electrical circuit from the rotating steering wheel down through the column.. Google would be best for image and additional information.. (I looked but did not see any related fuses ~ suspect failed clock spring)
