Driving along when the ESC,ABS,SEATBELT &BATTERY lights come on

Thank you, I got a new battery and the systems seem OK., it all happened again today,ESC,abs,brake,airbag,seatbelt &engine overheated. The brand new battery died, Do you still think this is the alternator?

when you had your battery tested, the store you bought the new battery should have checked your alternator to see if it would run at rated output. Modern cars are very sensitive to voltage and sensors that do not see proper voltage signals can cause the problems you are describing. It all starts with a good battery, but a new battery has to have a properly working alternator to remain a 'good' battery. Go back to where you purchased the battery and ask them to check your alternator's output.

yes,it does sound like the alternator!a fully charged battery should have 12.6 volts on it with the car off.then with the car running,the battery should read 13.5-15.0 volts DC!the battery is for starting the car,then the alternator takes over sending the correct voltage to everything.again,if you take the car to the parts house to get the alternator tested,then the battery MUST have a full charge on it.check all connections,including grounds for corrosion,loose,disconnected.make all connections good and shiny and tight.post findings.
