What is your question?
If I have driven my car for a half hour more and I put it in park or shut it off and I try to start it again and drive it will not engage in to drive. It will act like it's in neutral. Would you know why?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse when the engine is warm
How long has your 2005 Hyundai Sonata had this problem?
Since I've had the car. 1.5 months.

Will the shifter move to the drive position or is the shifter stuck in park? If its stuck in park then check your brake lights. You could have a brake switch issue. Alex
A knowledgeable 'mechanic' using the appropriate equipment can test the transmission fluid pressure along with a full scan test to help determine if this is an internal failure or an external component that needs to be replaced .. In any event - hands-on testing will be required. â–ªï¸https://repairpal.com/repair-shopsâ–ªï¸
It will go into drive just not engage for me to move. Only happens if it's warm too long though.
