What is your question?
I am looking for my first car, and have today been out trying a Honda Accord 2003 (90,000miles, 4cyl) and a Hyundai Sonata 2004 (88,000miles, 6cyl). Both at the price of $3,500. The Honda seemed more smooth in its drive, however, it needs a windshield repair due to cracks and a new back light. The Hyundai felt heavier and not as smooth as the Honda, but looked almost as new + had a more trustworthy seller. Any suggestions on which one might be better to consider?

i thought pushrod pretty much gave you the best answer on this yesterday? i'm just going to make one comment. i have a 1993 Honda LX accord and a 1991 Honda Accord EX. i would NOT trade either one(just one of them)for 5 Hyundai Sonatas.they tried to copy the Hondas, but not even close! Hondas are designed to go 300,000 PLUS miles and that is a FACT.the paint might fade on the Hondas, but the engines just keep going and going and going.it's your time to pick and choose!! next time you get on the road, look and see how many hondas you spot rolling down the road, even the 90's models, square body style. you can't go far,and there goes one, then another, then another, then another one??
He was certainly for great help yesterday. I just wanted a little input on the Hyundai in comparison to the Honda. You filled out that hole pretty well. I've only been a bit worried about the Honda as I've heard that it often has transmission failure. Yet, this might not be as big an issue as blown up to be.
well, now that you mention that. i have a friend that bought an 02 accord,6 cylinder.the tranny did go out on hers.i tried an additive that only NAPA sells, and researched it very well before i put it in the tranny.in other words,if that didn't work, nothing will.she contacted Honda and they helped her with a new tranny.some how she paid the shipping $600.00 and Honda paid for the transmission.NOW,whether that is on all the 2000 years,i don't know.you know you can google anything.research that before you decide.this was 8 years ago,and she is still driving it as of now!
