yes,it should be under the hood.IF the bulbs are good in the map/dome light and the switch is in the correct position,then you probably have a blown fuse.also if your battery is draining down like over night or during the day,then copy and paste the link below.. also have the battery tested.Autozone will test it for free...................................................................................................................................................................................................................... no belts in there,in the transmission.you are going to have to get some hands on help with checking the battery drain.

Well I found I have a 5.32 battery drain. So Saturday we start removing one fuse at a time. I'm almost there.
