What is your question?
AC problems. The ac was working fine then stopped. Went to recharge and gauges said it was fine but the compressor was not kicking on. Checked all fuses and relays and they are fine. Took it to a shop and they said the compressor needed to be replaced. After vacuuming down the system (it was full of 134) I replaced the compressor (not an easy job). New compressor in and same thing--compressor will not go on. Totally frustrated.

3 related fuses - go back and TEST each one AGAIN ! https://www.autogenius.info/hyundai-sonata-2003-2004-fuse-box-diagram/
I am not getting the guesswork happening here. Replacing a compressor is not easy -- and recovering refrigerant without proper equipment is nearly impossible. All to find out it didn't work out for you? What recourse do you have with the "shop" who told you the compressor needs replaced? If there's no help there, why bother getting that kind of help? It's best to get a relationship going with a trusted tech near you.
