What is your question?
It's a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe. It start up just fine, but when I put it in drive or reverse, it doesn't move at all. When I switch gears, it makes noise also. I would like to know why this is happening. Thank you.

Check transmission fluid level ..... It's possible the shifter cable at the transmission linkage or at the shifter itself may have become dislodged (unhooked) or is broken .. Look under hood at shift linkage on drivers side while helper shifts back & forth through all gears .. Do you see 'anything' moving while helper is shifting gears?
if the fluid level is full and the car does not move in either direction and is making a noise, then one would think the transmission has gone KA-POOT,SHOT,NO GOOD,NEEDS REBUILT,etc! you want to know why this is happening? we don't know.we can't see the inside of your transmission, but sounds like someone needs to open it up and look inside it for real!
