How do you install a starter?

Many who write in here just don't understand that the information (or lack of) they provide is crucial to getting a good and accurate reply-I've worked on all types of vehicles for over 4 decades, and while there are basic things all internal combustion engines share, specific information about THEIR car (make, model, engine) should be required in questions. thanks for your efforts, I feel like I waste time on here too.
