How often should the engine hoses be replaced?

Radiator hose replacement is recommended around every four years or 60,000 miles. Stop and go traffic may require more frequent replacement of your hoses.

Although there is no true set lifespan for a radiator hoses. They should last for maybe five years, but some will last longer, particularly if you're vigilant about having your coolant changed and your vehicle maintained properly. If the hoses are soft or collapsed, or you don't know if they have ever been changed,now would be a good time to change them,not that expensive,around $32.00 for both hoses(and that includes shipping charge also) from rockauto.com or local parts store is around $52.00 for the same exact Dayco hoses as rockauto.com,you would need coolant also from Walmart for best price. same hoses for 3.3L or 3.8L engine. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/hyundai,2008,azera, 3.8l+v6,1441270,cooling+system,radiator+upper+hose,2058

As a side note - radiator hoses just don't give much trouble anymore.. it never hurts to replace em though - if it makes you feel more confident with the vehicle by all means do so..
