How much does a new transmission cost for a Hyundai Accent 2017

I was told my water pump gave out, then told I was leaking oil and need a seal, when they were pulling my car to the shop it locked up after fixing the water pump and seal, then they said my transmission gave out cause my car barely moved when i just got it out of the shop I would push on the foot feeter and it would jerk like it was still locked up.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's worse so I don't know if it needs a transmission or what i don't want to move it

We do not know if this car was bought new by the writer.
Additionally, in these days of ride sharing, this car could have 100,000 miles or more on it already! Crazy but true...
