my car started shaking as if it would cut off and the check engine light flashed then stayed on. the mechanic said it was the ignition coil so i had it replaced and told them after reading repair pal that they should check spark plugs and wires as well since i had them replaced last year with a tune up. this major shaking was 2 days ago 1/22, then this morning 1/24 the exact same thing happened again, i took it back to the shop and told them. they didn't charge me for the diagnostic but said another coiled shorted out. Would a mechanic be able to tell if other coils need to be replaced or wires and spark plugs. I'm thinking that this could possible be bad spark plugs and wires. So now i want to see what this bad coil looks like. please tell me what you think. thank you so much!
What makes this problem better or worse?
