was driving and car started vibrating and the check engine went off. got a scanner code and it reads P0300. It says random misfire. What could be the culprit. Thanks

It means you have a cylinder misfire. but the computer has not seen enough information to determine which cylinder is misfiring. eventually it will set a code for a specific single cylinder misfire. The problem is if your car is misfiring it will eventually cause catalytic converter damage. I recommend getting the vehicle diagnosed immediately to keep any more issues from arising.
