What is your question?
Hi, I live in Quebec, Canada where the temperature is very unstable and jumps between above freezing to -15 every few days. I noticed a problem that ONLY occurs in very cold/humid weather (when the door rubbers are stuck shut); the door latch won't re-lock once the door is opened. The door can be pushed all the way back in (as if it was shut, nothing is blocking it) but nothing latches it closed, it swings right open if I'm not holding it. I usually have to let the engine run for 15-20 minutes (with the door resting in the closed position) and eventually I hear a random mechanical movement near the latch and the door latch engages and closes the door properly. (Electric door locks, central locking system). I've tried turning the engine on/off, spamming the lock/unlock button repeatedly... Nothing ever works, I just eventually hear it engage. Is there a solution/product that exists for this type of issue? I can't put grease or any liquids inside the latch since it's inside the doorfram
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse when it's cold

Google > door lock de-icer .. This will also work for the latch assembly - some WD-40 can't hurt either! Pam cooking spray - silicone spray lube - wiped onto the rubber door seal area will help prevent doors themselves from freezing shut.
Additionally - usually ALL doors aren't frozen quite as bad as the drivers door - try entering through passenger door.
There's logic behind this but I don't have time to explain. Good luck!
