how to change a fuel pump

are you sure the fuel pump is bad?have you checked the fuel pump fuse #3 in under hood fuse box,and also the fuel pump relay in the same box?the fuel pump is in the fuel tank,and yes the tank has to be removed to do this.if you are doing this yourself don't buy the pump local.example:Autozone $521.99 plus tax for original GM AC DELCO part #MU1473.
