What is your question?
Yesterday my windshield wipers came on and I did not turn them on, Also several days ago the rear wiper and washer activated without me turning on the switch. In both cases I could not turn them off by using the switch. I removed the fuses for the rear wiper and washer but I cannot do that for the windshield.

That thing that you turn them on with!.. Google multifunction switch for a picture.
thanks again, as soon as I hit send it dawned on me what it actually was. The brain is slow at times. Would this switch also have an effect on the rear wiper and washer, The switch that controls the rear is on the dash and not a part of the multi function switch/
That's a strange one!... Your best bet may be to have the Body Control Module (BCM) scanned for codes and functional test performed by the scanner/operator to help pinpoint this problem... **No use guessing at it**.... Good luck with it!.. Let us know what Ya find out.
I'm thinking it's the front wiper motor/module. The rear wiper goes through the front wiper module first. It's something I have seen a few times, but the part is expensive from what I remember
Thanks a lot for your reply, I think you hit on the problem. I am taking it to a repair shop and have a computer check done. I will post the results. I took it to the local chevrolet dealer and guess what?%&^$#? Everything worked perfectly, they had it for 2 days and could not get it to recreate the problem and as of now everything is working as it should. Anybody remember the movie "Christie". Thanks alot for all ideas and if anyone has anymore then send them my way
Thanks for the quick response. Where would I find this switch located on the vehicle?
