What if I bring my own parts

It's kinda like taking your own hamburger meat to McDonald's and asking them to cook it!! However if it taste like crap, remember you have *no argument* either! Most shops must make a certain amount of money per job to stay in business!.. Some shops add what 'profit' they would have made on the parts anyway so you really don't gain form furnishing parts. Take advantage of the shops *warranty on parts and labor* plus save the headache of not having the correct parts in the process! .. IMO only.
I agree with the first answer. As a shop, we need to must make money to keep the doors open. We will bump the labor price some to cover some of the lost profits on the part(s). It also creates a warranty headache. We provide a 2 yr./24,000 mile warranty. If a part fails that you purchased and we installed, it can turn into a blame game. Each shop has it's own policy.
