Why would my ridgeline spin over but not start?

I drove my 2010 ridgeline today shut it off and when I went to restart it all it would do is spin

How many miles on it? Is the green immobilizer light on (and flashing) while trying to start? While cranking , does it sound unusually faster or an irregular rhythm to it? Was the check engine light on BEFORE this problem?
