how do i repair my radio back light

By design - the radio light is supposed to dim out significantly when headlights are turned on - however it should not go completely out .. Using the provided switch that controls dash illumination brightness may help .. IF dash illuminatuon is turned OFF using the switch - radio light should return to full brightness.. IF it were anything else the “radio” lights would not likely work period.
