My Honda has begun to run a little bit ruff(?) sometimes when idling.
What is your question?
I've replaced the pvc valve-It wasn't completely clogged, bot a new one shouldn't have hurt things, it seems to be doing it a little more often. Where to next? EGR, fuel filter, vacuum lines (is there an easy, laymans way to check & where to start)?
no magic button!how long since last good tune up?(NGK plugs),wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter?also pull the plug wires off,one at a time, see if any oil is present in the spark plug tube wells.also, remove the distributor cap, check for oil inside the cap,and burnt rotor button.
there is also a problem on most of the 90's and 2000's all makes and models with the main relay having cold solder joints.won't start when it's HOT inside the car,it will crank but not start until it cools off inside the car.this is a very common problem on the hondas.
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 1993 Honda Prelude. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
Thanks for your input, next on my list to check will be fuel filter, vacuum lines, EGR. Thanks again.
