Often my Pilot will not start. I press the brake and push the button, but it will not start. This is unacceptable. Am I doing something wrong?

It has occurred three times in the last 2 months. The dash comes on but will not start. I take my key fob and hold it next to the button, still will not start. I finally today, got out, locked it, walked away for 2-3 mins. and went back to it. It did not start at first, then started. Am I doing something wrong? It does not happen when I have both sets of keys with me and I have had the Honda dealership check my key fob.
What makes this problem better or worse?
