changing transmissions and found a rodeo transmission(automatic) out of a 99 rodeo for a great price , before i drop the 2000 passport transmission (automatic) wanted to know if they will interchange ..

I'm sure the transmission itself from a 3.2L Rodeo is the same , not sure about the electronics though... To eliminate the direct fitment guesswork - call local salvage dealer, thay got ALL that interchange information.
