I have a 95 honda odyssey that I have put a new battery and starter on checked belts and cables all seem to be fine..when I turn the key it makes a spinning/whirling sound but will not start...im completely lost on what the problem is?
How long has your 1995 Honda Odyssey had this problem?

Sounds like a bad starter. It's not extending to spin the flex plate. Use this link to find a good shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
Have a helper attempt to start engine - look under hood to see if engine is rotating. IF so - the timing belt has failed and there is no compression - therefore the engine spins freely. And of course it will not start.
▪️ Timing belt is *not visible* without partial engine disassembly ▪️ Good luck!
