2011 Honda Fit Blower Motor / Resistor continually failing

What is your question?

Fan only works on highest setting. Have brought it in to shop where the motor and resistor have both been replaced - but it only works for a few days and then fails again. Resistor blew in February. Then the Motor/Resistor have crapped out 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Any potential issues causing the repeat failure?

Hopefully the wiring connector was closely inspected for any sign of high resistance - blackened wire terminals / melted plastic.. Loose or poor connections create high resistance which in turn generates heat !

Highly recommend original equipment manufacturers replacement parts > HONDA. Otherwise you may have a FIT ! Good luck!
