1. I changed spark plugs and air filter 2. I changed the coil pack on cylinder 1 3. I tested cylinder compression - checked out 4. I changed the fuel injector on cylinder 1. Things to note. I clear the code and the car idles smooth around 1200 rpm for30 seconds before the rpms dip to 700 and the cel flashes again. When I remove the plug to the MAP sensor, the cel no longer flashes.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Have you checked valve clearance? What is the MAP sensor reading using a diagnostic tool that can monitor data? When you changed components like coil and fuel injector, did you first swap to another cylinder to see if the concern traveled with the cylinder or stayed with cylinder #1?
Does ‘loop status’ on scan tool go to closed and then return to open loop?
