What is your question?
there is a vibration in seems to be front end. I have replaced axles, and that did not fix the problem. several mechanics told me it was the axles, spent $500.00 and still not fixed. Doesn't vibrate all the time but more than not.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, an "intermittent" vibration means it cannot be due to tires, wheels or axles. When these cause a vibration, the harmonic physics of the problem prevents it from being an intermittent concern. An out of balance tire, for example, or axle shaft does not sometimes "fix itself" stopping the vibration from happening. Is your vibration rhythmic -- or does it vary? Is it continuous when it happens, or momentary? Does it occur when braking only? What speeds does it occur at? Is this a 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive Element? Lastly -- one thing to consider, if you've ever used "fix-a-flat" in one of your tires, this can cause a perceptible vibration, as you have liquid in your tire that continually changes the balance of that tire. This could create an intermittent vibration situation, as it affects and then does not affect balancing variably. Something to think about.
Did either of these "mechanics" test drive vehicle - 'confirm there is a problem' - then perform *hands-on* inspection - with vehicle hoisted - operator present - engine on and transmission in gear - wheels rotating at relevant speed?? A "vibration" should be fairly easy to diagnose in the service bay as opposed to an imbalance 'shaking' the vehicle only while being driven on highway .. Seems to me there is a lack of property diagnostic procedure more than anything else..
That "property" diagnosis is important!
I have to believe that a knowledgeable technician can discover what's causing your concerns with proper *hands-on* diagnosis.
