What is your question?
twice now car won't start. First time day after I bought it, they said battery from sitting replaced and running until yesterday. I drove it, parked it, tried to start it couple hours later - nothing but a beep sound. Dealer ran tests today they say nothing found. Help. o sounds heard. Doesn't turn over. 6 months ago was the first incident and battery was replaced. Nothing since then.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Happens in hot and cold weather
How long has your 2013 Honda CR-Z had this problem?

Hello, Just to make sure I understand: the engine does not crank when you turn the key, and the dealership could not locate the issue? Is the vehicle still having the issue, or did it function normally after this last time?
Is the engine starting every time for the dealer?
Yesterday I had AAA jump it and is started. Today when I started it to drive to dealer it was fine and all tests they ran said car is fine.
It is possible something is ‘intermittently’ discharging the battery overnight .. Commonly know as a parasitic load .. Make SURE everything you can think of is turned OFF when parking vehicle .. Maybe go out at night and look for a light staying on... That’s the only thing I can think of after considering what’s been posted.
So, intermittent problems are frustrating to deal with, because they can only be solved if the issue occurs when the technician has it. On this one, I lean towards the battery sensor (no joke) or the voltage regulator, which the latter is likely part of the engine control module. I would certainly not run right out and buy parts to fix it, but I would buy a mini jump-box to keep in the vehicle until the problem will happen reliably enough for a technician to find.
The dealer certainly should be able to diagnose any problems that are present at the time of testing .. IF an accessory (factory or add-on) is still being energized while the vehicle is parked for an extended amount of time - there is your problem. The batteries in these vehicles (even new) can’t stand much discharging at all until it’s so weak it will not crank the engine.
Engine does not crank and all tests ran negative. Dealer cannot find anything. It was jumped yesterday by AAA and started this morning to go to dealer.
