the battery light is on and i have had battery and altenator tested and both are fine, why wont it go out?

the battery light has suddenly come on and i had battery and altenator checked and both are fine. sometimes numerous indicator lights will come on in the dash, stay on for a minute or two then go off but battery light stays on? what could be causing this problem?
I had it tested at autozone and Omalleys and both said battery and altenator are fine

Intermittent failures are common - the alternator can still cause the battery light to illuminate when it actually seems to be operating sufficiently..
( It’s a rather lengthy explanation that is really pointless )
I’ve have experienced defective ‘new replacement alternators’ that actually had ‘sufficient’ voltage output however the battery light remains on .. All of these were lower quality replacements from the discount auto parts stores though .. Just can’t beat high quality replacement parts! ..... Which are less expensive in the long run.
