If I accelerate a little or let off the gas it will stop

If you can narrow down the specific conditions when it happens(5-10MPH , while turning and backing up ...etc.) then it might be a little easier to suggest the most likely causes. How many miles on it? Last time rear diff. (assuming it is all-wheel-drive) was serviced? Any accidents? The more info , the better!
I have three of the CRV models.. 2005, 2007, 2010. The two with the automatic transmission do this exact same thing. The 2010 has 115000 miles and the 2007 has 155000 miles. The 2005 has 190000 miles and a manual transmission and has never done the shutter as I like to call it. I have always assumed it was a drive line condition most likely caused by the hanger bearing at mid point in the drive shaft. Now I think I may be wrong, but it is definitely related to the auto transmission.
