Tell the person that rotates your tires not to try and torque the lug nuts with an impact!! Use a TORQUE WRENCH in the PROPER SEQUENCE instead!! You could be a little easier on the brakes too!
Always make sure the wheels are evenly torqued to 80 ft/lbs during tire rotations. Make sure the brake calipers or slide pins are not sticking. Also,Inspect the front hubs for run out with a dial indicator. If they are not true you'll have a variation in rotor run out.
looks like Honda has problems with rotors, it is not bad driving. I have a 2013 Honda CRV that has 40,000 miles. I has been vibrating since 25,000.. Dealer says it is driver issue, that is crazy. The brake pad are not even worn out yet , just 50% worn and rotor is bad(needs machining which means this will occur again) I have never seen this occur with a vehicle I have ever owned. Might not buy another Honda now with this response from a dealer.
thanks. I been driving all kinds of cars for 30 years and this is the only one car that has this problem. So I think that my braking is not the problem. However there are a lot more crv owners with this problem. and they been told to go "easy on the brakes" is hard to believe that we are such bad drivers.
Ok, but understand we have no way of knowing so just covering all bases here! People often get a little po'ed but that is just the way it is. No offence intended! (It was just in case!) I still stand by my answer on the torque issue!!!
