My ac went out on when the compressor coil quit. Do i need to change out just the ac compressor or should I change out the , condensor and drier. AND how much should I estimate this repair should cost me?
What makes this problem better or worse?

We can’t evaluate what will be needed here online - this will require **hands-on** inspection.. No way to see / visualize what has failed and too difficult to relay the information in an online correspondence.. Sorry.
Agree with Pushrod -- just adding to the thought, there's no "automatic replacement" of the condenser related to the compressor being inoperative. Also, if you do not have any evidence of debris in the system due to catastrophic compressor failure, on this vehicle it would not be "required" to replace additional components. All that said -- I still can't figure why any "do it yourself" mechanics attempt air conditioning repairs. You simply gotta have a good set of gauges (ideally with a charging station!) and be incredibly thorough and accurate with diagnosis and repairs of air conditioning systems. Besides being having specialized training and education about refrigerant handling! It's a federal law that people handling refrigerant must be EPA certified. Yes, there is a loophole allowing small quantities of refrigerant to be sold to consumers, but it's against the law to vent any refrigerants to the atmosphere -- and with no proper equipment, you will be absolutely venting some, whether you like it or not. Last, it appears your seeking an estimate, so "do it yourself" is probably not the case here; an as Pushrod said, estimates and evaluations must really be done hands on to be accurate.
