Light on the dash indicating I am in Drive (D) blinks off & on - how to fix?

'D' light blinking indicates a trouble code has been stored in the trans control module. Need to have scanned (generic OBDII code reader will NOT do it!). Need a scanner equipped with Honda software and ability to communicate with trans.If and when you get the code(s) , post codes (not description just #s) , and I may be able to assist more.
