steering intermittent issue

What is your question?

2002 CRV- intermittently at all speeds steering wheel and front wheels feel as though they are not connected to the steering and car is not being steered. Then it is normal and operates perfectly. When it happens it is scary as heck. New belts, tie rods, struts, tires, ....help much appreciated.
