My dad had the heads and a new timing belt put on... it only came with 1 key...my hubby accidently drove it a mile and the check engine light has been on ever since. i am obsessive about checking fluids and keeping 1/2 tank of high quality gas in it...my driver door will not unlock at times, its hesitating, doesnt shift as easy,autozone put it on the machine & it said it misfired on all 4 cylinders(WTF,right,NO).&an O2 sensor codes as well. has new plugs, wires. timing right? itsmybaby

Mechanic with proper scan tool is what's needed, Zone don't have either one!!
As far as the Oxygen sensor code, don't pay any attention to that. That sensor monitors the exhaust gases, and if it is misfiring , then obviously it will give that code. Unburned fuel is in the exhaust. Your #1 problem is the misfire If the misfire was in a certain # cylinder then i would have said a spark plug or a plug wire or even a valve. But ALL 4 are misfiring so the common denominator would be something that controls all cylinders. That is either the coil / the distributor / or the timing belt is out of time. If all this work was done in the last month I would bring it back and tell them.
it said all 4 cylinders were misfiring, as in it gave 4 codes, not one...but if that were anywhere near right the honda wouldnt run, would it? im thinking timing and some long overdue maintan. the heads were replaced, the plugs/wires replaced...im thinking its an1/8th inch out of timing, if i can even do it myself...some models have to be done at the dealership on a computer...i figured either the idleO2 sensor was screwed, or the timing is a bit off. although i worry about transmissions, because they are my curse. i bought the book at autozone and have read 85 pages so far...do u think it has to do w the antitheft? i want that crap off. im replacing power lock actuators in the am...figured id do what i can and start small...thanks, im almost 30 and this is the first car ive owned thats not as old as i am, so i want to take great care of it...
took it to a very trusted mechanic ive used for over 10 yrs...he checked to see if he could change the timing...and said i need to take it to the dealership and have it put on a computer to have it timed corrctly- than it has no timing marks for him to go by....he also said i need a fuel filter that the one i had is ancient, that i need a new pvc valve cuz the current one isnt sucking/regulating air correctly...and we both heard a hiss like a vacuum leak....sprayed it down w carb cleaner several several times and didnt find one. however, theres a line thats running from my cruise control to NOTHING and its hanging in mid air looks like itd been cut. its steadily sucking air so i sealed it for now. im taking it to the dealer thursday- any ideas about ost or diagnosis? i need to know what im walking into cuz i need this vehicle tip top for my job... MORE INFO: it likes to stall out when i touch the brake, when i intitially switch gears, when im not pushing down on the gas. the MEL flashes when pushing gas pedal the goes back to solid without flashing when i let off. the damn thing shakes so bad sometimes i wonder if its gonna get shot and then im out my new car and the money i bought it for. im pretty sure it needs rear differential fluid as well. plz give any info u can im female and dont want to spend a ton at the dealership. im no fool but aslo new to automotive. i have the book on it from autozone, the manual and the service manual downloaded on my laptop. ive read on it over a week and cantpinpoint it. it looks like it has new wires. thanks guys i hope its not too much trouble and that u have any advice that could help.
