Take original key and this new key to locksmith so a working key can be cut. Probably best to get a couple keys made. You can not program a new key without an existing programed master key - after the ignition lock cylinder is replaced - you will no longer have a programmed MASTER key.
Locksmith can match up a key with the required resistance chip then cut it to fit lock cylinder. Locksmith will be happy to explain further. Good luck!
