What is your question?
This is the third time this has happened in the last month. Car won't even turn over. No lights left on. Interior lights do come on when door is opened, so battery is not completely dead. Battery and alternator were replaced 18 months ago. Battery tested fine during the 50k service I had done six weeks ago. I spoke to the service advisor at the dealership and he said that all the electronics in the car run down the battery if I leave it idle, but a WEEK? Really? Last time it died on me I had driven it to the airport for a two week vacation. Of course, it was dead when we got back from vacation. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be, or is this just an ongoing problem because there is too much technology in this particular engine?
What makes this problem better or worse?
When engine is off for long periods of time.
How long has your 2014 Honda Civic had this problem?
A month

Short trips play a role as well - of course battery quality makes a huge difference. Yes there is quite a few electronic gadgets that depend on some battery voltage even while vehicle is parked. The Civiv doesn’t have a large battery to start with - however it should stay charged for a week while parked.
There may be a small parasitic load on the battery outside of that required by the onboard electronics. *Hands-on* testing will be required. Good luck!
