What is your question?
Hey so my engine is burning through oil quick now a days it's at about 190k miles. Also starting to make some worrying sounds when I accelerate around 2nd gear on an automatic. Was hoping some lucas oil could help make things quieter if it's the engine but there's a lot of types of oils for some many different types of engines. Just wanna know which to get.
How long has your 2010 Honda Civic had this problem?
About a week now that I've noticed

Hello, maybe someone out there is a "Lucas oil expert" -- but I'd just tell you that there's no magic bullet to fix engine wear. If there was, people would never have to make repairs to worn out engines or replace worn out vehicles. I'm sorry to say that it's likely you're reaching the end with your 2010 Civic -- unless you're going to make major investments in tear down and repair or replacement of components. You may yield a modest temporary improvement by using an additive of some kind, but a very very small result, and one that will not buy you any time.
Lucas oil stabilizer will quieting engine related noises to a certain degree - however it is not a fix nor long term effect - 190k is certainly a lot of miles but not really on the extreme side of what this engine is capable of... Nothing can take the place of proper and timely maintenance.. Just saying.
