2008 Honda civic exl was aggressively kicked by my ex bf and is hanging off . not only do I need to replace the complete shifter . I also need to know how it all connects so it can be replaced .. What needs to be inspected . needs new counsel for it as well . I wish I can send the pictures so u can see what in talking about. I was told the neutral cable was stretched. I feel I need to learn how the gears work, connect and the parts included to successfully get my car to run again. I towed it home and how driver mentioned it was already om neutral. I need diagram or schematics so I can make myself knowledgeable in order to know what im replacing and why please help I have pictures . the key is also stuck in ignition and is an automatic
