I have a 2008 Honda Civic LX. My passenger side window would intermittently stop working. Than occasionally it would stop working and go up and down. When this happens neither the drivers side or passenger side switch will operate it. Now it wont do either and is stuck half way down. What do you think is the problem? Ive read many conflict reviews from the Main switch located in the drivers side switch control or the motor/ regulator? I dont think it is the relay because it only effects that one 1 and it was intermittently getting worse. Also I didnt notice it moving any slower or making noises when it would work. Thank you for any advise you maybe able to offer

Engine off key on - closely observe dome light when activating either switch for THAT window.
Does dome dim slightly when switch is actually acted?
Look closely - dimming will be very faint.
IF light does dim - failed window motor is prime suspect.
