I have a blinking greenlight by the d(drive)lite what does this mean ?

It means that a problem has been detected in the transmission control/operation and has set a DTC(Diagnostic Trouble Code) in the TCM ( transmission control module) that will need to be scanned with an appropriate scan tool that can communicate with TCM , not just read 'OBDII' codes.Dealer or good independent shop would be a good choice. Post code(s) , BEFORE authorizing repairs , unless they can guarantee the diag. & repair in writing!
