What is your question?
My son has a 2005 Honda Civic EX, automatic, 130,000 miles. We have replaced the front left wheel barring 3 times in the last 4-5 months, most recently about 10 days ago before he moved 13 hours away. He drove the car from CO to MN and the front wheel barring is making noises again, less than 2 weeks later. What else can be causing this?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Now making noise when A/C is on as well

The torque value on the axle nut.
Cheaper bearing, improper install -not pressing on fully or misdiagnosis. Who has replaced and diagnosed all these times- professional tech?
this has been done professionally each time at my dad's shop. The second and third replacements were done free of charge as they originally thought it was either a bad barring or done improperly. Now my son is 14 hours away and I just want to help him troubleshoot it as he is not around our typically trusted shops. He is looking for a shop to diagnose the problem.
Agree - low quality bearing and / or improper installation procedure will drastically reduce bearing longevity..
