PO420 code most likely... Now I've seen vehicles driven for years with that code present and the light on without any problems at all.. Only thing is with the light on constantly, never know when another problem has occurred without testing.. Vehicle owners decision! .. Now, suggest more absolute testing to CONFIRM the catalyst has indeed failed before any conclusions are drawn.
