What is your question?
My 1997 Honda Civic HX, passenger side window kept stopping when trying to raise it. Then it started slipping down, and now it is stuck down. I hear the motor when I press the button. It would go halfway up and then start clanging. I think the gears were sticking. So i had to manually slide it up with my hand. Thrn the window yesterday just slid down in the middle of a rain storm. and it seems to be off the track now, stuck in the down position.

no recall.take the inside door panel off to trouble-shoot the window regulator.remove and replace if bad.around $30.00 at most parts places.motor is probably good.
Without having your VIN number there is no way to check for active recalls on this vehicle. I don't think there are in regards to your issue. It sounds like you have a broken regulator assembly that would need to be replaced. If you don't have the funds to repair it you can buy a cheap door stopper to wedge the window up until you can fix it. If you want to make sure there are no recalls I recommend checking with the service department at a Honda dealer to be sure. Good luck!
