does it do it only when it is hot outside,or when engine is hot,or hot inside car?also why 2 different years listed?93,96?
Sorry 1993 normal
when you turn the key to on,not start. the check engine light will come on then when it goes out,you should hear a click.watch the check engine light,it comes on when key turned to on,then goes out in 2 seconds, when it goes out,it should click.does this happen?if no click, engine won't start.post results.
the main relay is bad,it also controls the fuel pump.very common problem on the honda's,mine did it to,93 accord.it is located on the drivers side, under the dash.not real hard to change.google the part number below to see what it looks like. Relay - Main, Price: $49.99 Part Number: 20505<<<< Warranty: Limited Lifetime this is the Autozone part number.
if the check engine light don't click when it goes out,it ain't working.i'm not saying it is bad,you may have a computer problem or that code 16 is a fuel injector code.have you rented the noid lights at the zone to check the injector pulse?have you checked the fuel pressure regulator?if not, pull the vacuum line off,and check for fuel in the vacuum line after trying to start.if any fuel in vacuum line, regulator is bad!idk?
I changed the main relay for a used one and now it's click but still don't start crank but don't start
ok,you have to have fuel, spark, and compression for the engine to start.if you are missing any one of the three,it will not start.
