What is your question?
After 3 separate times taking my car back to the same shop who did the initial replacement of cam shaft I still have a small leak. I placed a flat cardboard box under my car this week and still have a couple of spots. The last time I took it back the owner said they just didn't tighten the oil pan bolt enough. It's still leaking! Please offer any suggestions or is this another leak? Thank you!
What makes this problem better or worse?
Smells like burning oil a lot. Not losing oil, oil level remains the same.
How long has your 1995 Honda Civic had this problem?
Six months or seven months
So it's ok to just live with the leak? The engine is so cruddy, I really want someone to apply cleaner and clean off the oil, which I understand could cause a fire? They have done ( and another shop) hands-on inspection ( well at least that is what they told me) and it's still the cam shaft area. I did put down cardboard as suggested and marked where tires are to see if that better pin points but it looks like its near driver side up front of engine block, which is cam shaft area still , I believe. Thank you for the reply! :-)
