I wanted to know what I need to swap out my 5th gen D16 for a 6th gen D16 I wanna know the difference in what in both of the motors & what I need.

no , do you not understand the original; response? EVERYTHING FROM THE DONOR CAR -ELECTRICAL- , SHOULD BE USED , ALONG WITH THE ENGINE.

No problem,good luck. I see a lot of 'swaps' and usually the main reason for trouble(s) including the check engine light being on (even though it runs great) has mostly been due to mismatched electronics.
