Thank you for all answers. I have a big mess. This car is about 30 years old. I can not find any person who can rebuild a Honda carburetor around me. I do not trust most places that rebuild carburetors that are a big distance from me. I can not buy a rebuilt carburetor associated with California from any store like napa and auto zone - napa does not have any carburetor for a 1987 honda. The car will not ever go back to California. If I can I need to try to get a carburetor that is not associated with California on my car. My car has an automatic transmission. I think I can buy a rebuilt carburetor for automatic transmission and not associated with California for my car. People say carburetors associated with California are a small amount different compared to most states because of smog laws associated with California. It could be true a carburetor associated with California has 1 extra hose. If that is true may be just sealing 1 hose and not using it will work. - these are important questions - will a carburetor not associated with California fit on my car where at least the car runs - at this time I will take any thing that kind of works - how long do carburetors tend to last - if I buy an old carburetor at a junk yard will it work or will be broken.
