Oil indicators not accurate when i check oil with dipstick

What is your question?

I have a 2013 honda accord exl my oil indicator say i need a oil change but when i check my oil life with the dipstick its full is the indicator not accurate ? Whats the problem ? I use ow 20 oil mobile 1 and i put 1420.8 miles on it i thought its every 3000 miles i need to change it ? My last oil change they put a sticker when the next oil change but the miles has not reached to be change im verry concerned please help

The service reminder (oil life indicator) MUST BE 'RESET' EVERY TIME the oil is changed - obviously that wasn't done @ the last oil change .. Otherwise the CAR has no idea when that was. The dip-stick is just for checking the present oil level in the engine and that is all it can do .. Highly recommend reading up on this in the owners manual for more complete details..

Trust me i reset it and this already happened to me twice changing my oil i wasnt born yesterday lol i think the oil indicator is mest up i only put 1500 miles on it and it say to change oil but when i check dipstick it up to the second dot which means full
